New England Endurance Events has accepted an invitation from the My SwimRun Championship Series to join their slate of races for 2024. This is an international swimrun race series — and SwimRun Cape Cod will be the only race held in North America — so we’re very excited to be part of the conference!

April 21: Troi SwimRun, Portugal
May 4: SwimRun Jablines, France
June 2: SwimRun Costa Azahar, Spain
June 23: Backwater SwimRun, Austria
July 1: SwimRun Rheinserg, Germany
August 17: Immeln SwimRun, Sweden
September 8: Dyfi SwimRun, Wales
September 21: SwimRun Cape Cod, U.S.
October 20: SwimRun Cote d’Azur, France
November 1: SwimRun Hydra, Greece
You can earn a spot at a world championship race by winning your class at any of the qualifier events — including SwimRun Cape Cod — or by accruing points at each race in which you compete.
For 2024, the championships will be held in Troi, Portugal (long distance), Immeln, Sweden (middle distance) and Cote d’Azur, France (sprint distance). As SwimRun Cape Cod is held somewhat late in the 2024 season, sprint athletes who qualify at our race have the option of competing at Cote d’Azur 2023 in October (for those who qualified at the short distance category), or at any of the the 2025 or 2026 championships (event locations to be announced). Medium-distance athletes are eligible for either the 2024 or 2025 championship race.
Additionally, based on your results at SwimRun Cape Cod or other My SwimRun races, you will receive a World Ranking. A unique twist is that even if you raced as part of a two-person team, you will also be ranked as an individual. Ranking categories for solo athletes at each distance include Elite, 16-39, and 40+. There are two Team categories: one for teams whose cumulative age is below 90 years, and one for those teams whose combined age is over 90.
For us at New England Endurance Events, the most appealing part of our association with this championship series is the opportunity to create an international flavor at our event here on Cape Cod. And, we’ve already heard from our local athletes who wouldn’t mind earning a trip to locations such as the south coast of France to be part of a world championship multisport race!
