Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon
Saturday, June 6, 2026
Dubbed “a great race in a most beautiful place,” the Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon has an atmosphere unlike almost any other triathlon: friendly, chill, “we’re-all-in-this-together.” Start off with a quarter-mile swim in one of Wellfleet’s many calm ponds. Next, bike two 5-mile loops through the Cape Cod National Seashore. The 5k run follows an out-and-back course with a turn-around right at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. A warning: this race fills to capacity months in advance!

It’s a rite of summer on Cape Cod: an event that attracts not only local triathletes but also visitors from across the nation and the world, (30 U.S. states, 7 nations represented last year!) This “short” race is unique for a warm salt-water swim, a scenic bike ride that climbs to the majestic Nobska Point Light, and a flat 5k run into the village and back. Don’t expect to sign up as race day nears — as Falmouth always fills to capacity in advance each year.

GutCheck Stratton
Sunday, August 15, 2026
The original GutCheck Adventure Race now has its first sibling: held at majestic, beloved Stratton Mountain in Vermont. There are some differences: a mountain bike is used instead of a road bike, there are no water crossings (for this inaugural year), but lots of hills! Like GutCheck Cape Cod, the only map you’ll receive is just 10 minutes before the start of the race. Go from checkpoint to checkpoint all over Stratton Mountain Resort, finishing on the cobblestones of the base village.
