Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon

Saturday, June 6, 2026

Dubbed “a great race in a most beautiful place,” the Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon has an atmosphere unlike almost any other triathlon: friendly, chill, “we’re-all-in-this-together.” Start off with a quarter-mile swim in one of Wellfleet’s many calm ponds. Next, bike two 6-mile loops through the Cape Cod National Seashore. The 5k run follows an out-and-back course with a turn-around right at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. A warning: this race fills to capacity months in advance!

Saturday, July 25, 2026

Here it is up front: this is a long, hard day.  Sea to Summit is widely considered to be one of the most difficult one-day events in the world. Start with a 2k swim by the coast of Maine. Move onto your bike for a 150+ kilometer ride across hilly terrain ending with a true mountain climb. Finish with a run/hike up the tallest mountain in the Northeast U.S.  This is an amazing day combines the core elements of triathlon with the challenges of an adventure race. Sells out each year.
